With President Trump’s directive to slash federal regs, could regulations related to Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT) be on the chopping block?

On October 14, 2016, the HHS Office of National Coordinator (ONC) published a Final Rule wherein ONC enhanced its oversight over the electronic health records (EHR) certification process and holds health information technology (health IT) developers more accountable for the performance, reliability and safety of health IT.
